If I expressed my life in Shalom
Christian Fellowship in one word, I would say, “awakening”. Before I came to
Japan, I focused on my family, my relationship, my problems, my anxieties, my
job and my dream; that’s all. That’s the meaning of my life to me. But I was
led to SCF and Shepherd’s College that I had never imagined that I am going to
be part of. It was obviously God who brought and made it possible for me to
attend. I found a new life and I was able to refocus on God and His purpose.What is the purpose of our life? I would
have said before, ‘It’s a success or enjoying life’. But now I think it is to
glorify God who created this world, to enjoy the relationship with Him who
loves us and love others. It is very simple, but I think this is what we should
focus on.
